The Alliance is proud to serve Larimer County with our Suicide Prevention efforts.
If you or someone you know is having a mental health crisis, call Colorado Crisis Support 1-844-493-8255 or text HOME to 741741.
Our organization is entirely supported by local business and individual donors.
In conjunction with National Suicide Awareness Month, Mayor Karen Weitkunat of Fort Collins has declared September as Suicide Awareness Month. We’re using the State-Wide ManTherapy campaign and our Hole in Your Life campaign to reach out specifically to men. This will be our focus as we host our 12th Annual Downtown Walk & Vigil on Sunday, September 8th, and our Lifesavers Breakfast on Wednesday, September 25th.
Gather a team and join us for our annual downtown walk. Registration opens at 3:30 and the walk begins at 4:30. The walk will feature musical guests Cowboys Dead, slam poetry, a mustache photo booth, opportunities to win buckets of goodies, Anna’s Art Explorers station for youngsters, food and beverages, and more! Register here.
Then, on Sept. 25th, enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Fort Collins Hilton to benefit the suicide prevention programming we provide year-round. Last year, our youth education program, RAPP, reached over 4,000 middle and high school students. Learn more about our efforts and our organization at the breakfast.
