Adult aged males are a demographic with a very high suicide death rate. The Alliance has an outreach program specifically targeted at this group. The intent is to help bring awareness and education to men by hosting community events geared toward men, as well as helping at-risk individual establish connections with others in the community.
If you’re interested in having an event for your Men’s-focused group (e.g. golf league, sports club, faith community, etc.) please contact us by filling out the contact form below.
ASP is starting lived experience, leadership committee meetings for our highest risk populations including: construction workers, first responders, Veterans and a general men’s group. Men’s Mental Health Resources
Connection is strength.
Men in our community are often carrying a lot—quietly. Whether it’s stress, grief, anger, loneliness, or questions about identity and purpose, we believe in creating space where men can show up without judgment.
1-on-1 Coffee Chats for Men
Sometimes you don’t need therapy—you just need someone to talk to.
These casual coffee chats are a chance to connect, share what’s on your mind, and talk about life, mental health, or whatever feels important. It’s not therapy or peer counseling, just a real conversation in a judgment-free space.
Interested? Email us at Lawrence@suicideprevent.org to set something up.
Intergenerational Men’s Dinner Group Grounded Generations
Twice a month, local men come together to cook, eat, and connect. Every gathering is built around a shared meal and shared stories. Participants take turns bringing a skill, story, or conversation topic to the group.
Whether you’re leading a team, learning a trade, raising kids, or figuring things out—this group is open to all men who want to show up, share, and connect.
